Professor Artur Garcez Responsible Editor Neurosymbolic Artificial Intelligence Re: Revised survey submission for second-round review — Special Call for Survey Papers Original Tracking No.: 931-1953 Dear Professor Garcez and Reviewers, We are pleased to resubmit our revised manuscript, “Neurosymbolic Inference, Reasoning and Proving in Propositional Logic: A Survey,” by Nenad Krdzavac and Felix Engel, for a second round of review in Neurosymbolic Artificial Intelligence. This survey is submitted in response to the journal’s Special Call for Survey Papers, available at: https://neurosymbolic-ai-journal.com/content/special-call-survey-papers. We sincerely thank the editor and both reviewers for their constructive comments and encouraging assessment. We have carefully considered all comments and substantially revised the manuscript. The revisions clarify the X–Y–Z taxonomy and evaluation methodology, expand the literature coverage, and strengthen the background, interpretation of results, and conclusions. The submission comprises the following files: main_nai_rev.pdf — Main manuscript: the clean revised manuscript, submitted as the principal file for consideration. main_nai_rev_no_colour.pdf — Supplementary material: the colour-marked version of the revised manuscript, provided to help the reviewers identify changes. response_to_reviewers.pdf — Supplementary material: a 40-page, itemised response to both reviewers, explaining how their comments have been addressed and identifying the corresponding manuscript locations. The marked supplementary manuscript contains the same revised content as the main manuscript, with revision colours added solely to facilitate review. The colour scheme is as follows: Blue: revisions addressing Reviewer 1; Green: revisions addressing Reviewer 2; Violet: revisions addressing comments raised by both reviewers. The revised manuscript comprises 134 pages in total, including the appendix, acknowledgements, and references. It contains 7 main sections, supplemented by Appendix A; 286 bibliographic entries; 11 figures; and 34 tables, including the abbreviations table. Both manuscript versions are 134 pages long. We hope that the revised manuscript and accompanying documentation address the concerns raised and facilitate the second-round assessment. Thank you for your time and continued consideration of our contribution to the Special Call for Survey Papers. Yours sincerely, Nenad Krdzavac and Felix Engel TIB–Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology Hanover, Germany Corresponding author: Nenad Krdzavac Email: Nenad.Krdzavac@tib.eu
